On the outbound journey, China Telecom and China Unicom are directly connected, while China Mobile bypasses Europe;

For the return trip, the three networks, China Telecom and China Mobile, all use their own nodes on the West Coast of the United States to directly connect back to China; China Unicom also uses their own CUVIP (AS4837) to return.
