The European vps of locvps not only includes the Russian cn2 gia (check the review), but also the high-end CUII series from Germany and the Netherlands (check the review). This can also ensure that the speed of mainland Chinese users accessing Europe can be increased to a very high level. speed. Let’s do a simple evaluation here and share the actual measurement data for everyone’s reference!

Official website: https://www.locvps.com

The CPU is virtualized, clocked at 2.8GHz, model number cannot be seen, BBR is enabled, hard disk I/O is approximately 196MB/S:

The detailed data of FIO test hard disk read and write are as follows:

The official default bandwidth is 100Mbps. We use speedtest.net’s Mainland China node to test it. Let’s first look at the effect during the day. Generally speaking, it is in a full state:

Looking at the evening peak again, the backbone network is still quite powerful during the explosion period:

The following is the test results of other nodes in Asia:

iperf3 tests European and American nodes:

The files stored on the test VPS are downloaded directly using Chrome. The webmaster is Guangzhou Telecom. The download effect during the evening peak period:

The download effect during the day is not much different in comparison. It seems that the high-end lines are still different:

The data on test delays of 80 nodes in mainland China are announced as follows:

On the outbound journey from China Telecom, take China Unicom’s standard CUII line after China Telecom’s backbone network (AS9929 followed by international AS10099):

For China Unicom's outbound journey, the backbone network is connected to AS9929 and then AS10099:

Moving outbound, CMI takes level 3 to the United States and then to Germany:

Return to Mainland China Telecom: Go from Germany to the Netherlands and then to the node AS10099 of China Unicom in London, UK, directly connect to AS9929 back home, and then transfer to China Telecom

Return to China Unicom: Same as the previous telecom, Germany-Netherlands-UK, then AS10099 connects to AS9929, directly to mainland China

Return, move to mainland China:

Beijing direction: Germany-France-UK, take telia to the United States, and then directly connect back from the mobile US Los Angeles node;

In the direction of Shanghai and Guangzhou, transfer AS10099 from Germany-Netherlands-UK to AS9929 and return to China, then transfer to AS4837 and then transfer;

Streaming media test, for reference only:

Unix bench mark:

To summarize:

For the outbound journey, China Telecom and China Unicom use the standard China Unicom AS9929 to connect to the international AS10099; China Mobile uses its own CMI and then connects to level3 to go to the United States and then to Germany;

The return journey is the standard method of China Telecom and China Unicom. The international line of AS10099 is connected to AS9929 and then comes back; the same is true for China Mobile, but the direction of China Mobile's return to Beijing is inconsistent and the rest is the same. When returning to Beijing, it takes a detour to Los Angeles, USA, and returns from China Mobile's Los Angeles node.

Roughly speaking, the effect of this CUII line for China Telecom and China Unicom users should be better than that for mobile users!
