New York is the ninth data center where virmach's new AMD series VPS has been launched. Like the others, it uses AMD Ryzen+NVMe SSD, and still has 1Gbps bandwidth... Since it is the east coast of the United States, it is estimated that mainland China should be the location. There are relatively few. How is the situation? We got a chicken for everyone to test. The data speaks for itself and is for reference only!

3.5GHz main frequency, like other data centers, should still be Ryzen 9 3950X. Judging from the AS, the server is still probably in the dedipath cabinet. The current hard disk I/O is roughly 1.2GB/s:
The read and write data of the hard disk under FIO's detailed test is roughly as follows:
Pay attention to how much bandwidth Xiaoji can run. The first node is the nearest node, and the rest are nodes of the three networks in mainland China. During the day, the three networks in mainland China seem to be relatively balanced:
Compared with the evening peak period, telecommunications is not so stable, and the change in uplink and downlink bandwidth is very different:
Data of other nodes in Asia:
iperf3 runs on European and American nodes, roughly as follows:
Download the files stored on the test VPS directly using a browser to check the speed. This will give you a more intuitive understanding:
Look at the effect at night, it seems to have dropped to 5.9MB/s:
Latency monitoring data of more than 170 nodes around the world:
On the outbound journey of telecommunications, the backbone network connects telia to the inap computer room:
China Unicom outbound, backbone network docking cogentco:
Moving outbound, CMI International picks up cogentco:
Return to China Telecom:
Beijing direction uses Verizon to connect to the backbone network,
Shanghai direction: Directly connected back from the San Jose node exit of Telecom,
Guangzhou direction: Directly connected back from China Telecom’s Los Angeles node exit,
Return to China Unicom:
Beijing direction: take Telia to bypass Europe, and take AS4837 back from China Unicom's node in Frankfurt, Germany,
Shanghai direction: take cogentco to connect AS4837 and come back,
Guangzhou direction: take level 3 to connect AS4837 and come back,
Return to China Mobile: direct connection back from China Mobile’s nodes in San Jose, Los Angeles, and Seattle
TIKTOK unlocking seems to be normal:
Other streaming media unlocking tests:
A little test about performance:
To summarize:
In terms of performance, the results of the current test are amazing and impeccable;
In terms of network, the outbound traffic of the three networks is not very good,
For the return journey, it seems that China Mobile’s route is the best, followed by China Telecom (but the direction from Beijing is detoured to Europe), and then China Unicom; in actual use, it is difficult to say, because China Unicom’s international effect is worse during the evening peak period. Which one is better, telecommunications or mobile? Let’s treat them differently.
