Modify the security settings of Litespeed 7080 port in the LLsMP one-click package environment

LLsMP (llsmp.cn) one-click environment package is still commonly used in VPS host WEB website building. Firstly, it takes up less memory resources, and secondly, it is easier to get started. There were many in Snail Blog before. The article shares the LLSMP one-click package that is also used in some Snail WEB environments. In view of the security considerations for the VPS server, after installing the environment package and modifying a series of security settings such as the VPS host ROOT port and SSH key login, we may neglect to modify the Litespeed default port 7080.

In general theory, whether it is a VPS or a website, once the login entrance is known, there may be a certain degree of security. If the password is weak, there is a chance it will be cracked, so our best method is to use a complex password. At the same time, modify the port so that it is not easy to open the default port directly.

After the LLSMP environment is installed by default, Litespeed does not require login operations under normal circumstances, unless we need to completely delete a site, which may be used. Generally, all SSH operations are sufficient. But the port needs to be modified.

After logging in to the Litespeed backend, we go to the WEB CONSOLE-LISTENERS menu, then see the picture above and click the VIEWEDIT link.

Click EDIT to edit the port.

Modify the Port number from 0 to 65535, and then save it. Then click \\"Apply Changes\\" in the interface to confirm the modification generation.

Finally, we can restart it in the menu Actions – Graceful Restart to take effect.
