A rough summary:
This is a U.S. East Coast VPS that uses standard international BGP routes to return to the country. Mobile returns to the country are from its own node on the West Coast. China Unicom uses level 3, and China Telecom uses level 3 and cogent. Generally speaking, there is no advantage in speed when returning to China. Networks that are not high-end independent links will be affected by the evening peak.
As for performance, you basically don’t have to worry about it, it’s no problem at all!
