Bandwagonhost has launched a brand new Hong Kong vps. This time the Hong Kong server is hosted in Equinix's Hong Kong data center. It has 1Gbps bandwidth by default, comes with an IPv4, and provides free automatic backup and free snapshots. Everyone knows that Bricklayer already has a Hong Kong vps, and it is also a Hong Kong cn2 gia high-end network. So what about the new Hong Kong vps this time? What route to take and what is the speed? Please take a look at the review of Bricklayer Hong Kong vps we brought.

The CPU model is unknown, the main frequency is 2.7GHz, blind guess is e5-2697v2 (dual-channel is 24 cores and 48 threads), the IP broadcast by the bricklayer himself, the webmaster has enabled BBR, and the current hard disk I/O is approximately 494MB/s:
FIO tests the reading and writing data of the hard disk in detail:
Everyone is probably paying special attention to how many uplinks and downlinks this Hong Kong chicken can run in the mainland. We can see this from the speedtest test of different nodes below; the first line roughly guesses that the bandwidth of the hen should be 10Gbps for the nearest node. The remaining three networks in mainland China were tested on different nodes; we can see that the maximum uplink speed is close to 1700Mbps, and the maximum downlink speed is close to 4700Mbps:
When we test it during the evening peak period, we will find that China Telecom and China Unicom have different attenuation in Chengdu, but China Mobile is still strong. You will know the reason later. Read on:
Test data of some nodes in America, Europe, Asia and Africa:
Look in detail at the test results of some nodes in Asia:
(The webmaster intends to keep it for his own use and does not want to disclose the IP) The file stored on Test Chicken, Guangzhou Telecom, can be downloaded directly using the browser during the day, the speed is as follows:
Download speed during evening peak:
It was also during the evening peak period. The webmaster used his own China Unicom server to try it, and the speed was around 6MB/S:
Data on multi-node detection delays in mainland China:
Visual observation is that in order to prevent being beaten, China Telecom and China Unicom switched to NTT with large bandwidth.
On the way to China Telecom, I took NTT and took a detour around Tokyo, Japan:
For China Unicom’s outbound journey, we also took NTT and detoured around Tokyo, Japan:
The outbound mobile journey is directly to the CMI network:
On the return trip to China Telecom: it is mandatory to take the mobile CMI link back
Return to China Unicom: Like China Telecom, it is also mandatory to move the CMI link back
Return to mainland China: use your own CMI link
Streaming media TIKTOK test, no luck:
Part of the conclusions of cross-regional streaming media detection:
A little performance testing:
A rough summary:
On the outbound journey, China Telecom and China Unicom bypassed Japan, which is relatively good. At least the large bandwidth can resist DDoS. However, on the outbound journey of China Mobile, it is directly connected without bypassing; on the return journey, all three networks are forced to use China Mobile. For the link, the mobile international segment AS58453 is transferred to the domestic segment AS9808, and then everyone goes back to their respective homes to find their respective mothers.
In terms of performance, this hen is obviously not as powerful as the Hong Kong cn2 gia and the Japanese cn2 gia, but it is still completely fine for tasks such as building a website.
Judging from the current special edition promotion, it is less than US$6.2 per month, which is quite cost-effective!
