How about greencloudvps? How about Green Cloud? We have already evaluated the VPS of greencloudvps’ data centers in Vietnam, Hong Kong, Japan (Osaka, Tokyo), Singapore, and San Jose. This Los Angeles article may be the last one, because it is related to the European data center that people from mainland China are interested in. There shouldn’t be many...This evaluation data is for reference only...

There are really many VPS categories on the official website, please take a closer look;

The lowest-end AMD series we chose this time in Los Angeles is Ryzen 9 3900X, clocked at 3.8GHz. The current hard disk I/O is roughly 565MB/S. The webmaster has enabled BBR:
FIO tests the hard disk reading and writing data in detail:
Test different nodes of the three networks in mainland China to see how much uplink and downlink bandwidth it can run:
Pay attention to the comparison. Speedtest is still the node in mainland China, but it has changed to the evening peak time period:
Run it using multiple nodes in Asia and pay attention:
International test results of some nodes in Europe, the United States, Africa and Asia:
iperf3 will specifically run a few European and American nodes to see:
The files stored on the test chicken are directly downloaded by Guangzhou Telecom via Chrome, and the speed is roughly as follows:
Let’s look at the same environment again, but switched to the evening rush hour:
During the evening rush hour, switch to Chengdu China Unicom to see the download speed:
It is still the evening rush hour, let’s switch to Hubei Telecom to see the download speed:
Latency test data of multiple nodes in mainland China:
On the outbound journey of Telecom, the backbone network is connected to zayo, and it seems to go to the QN computer room:
China Unicom outbound, backbone network zayo:
Moving outbound, CMI connects with cogentco:
Return to China Telecom:
Beijing and Guangzhou are directly connected to China from China Telecom’s Los Angeles node;
Shanghai direction: Directly connect back to China from China Telecom and Zayo's peers in Los Angeles
Return to China Unicom:
Beijing and Shanghai directions: all are returned via GTT to connect to the backbone network
Guangzhou direction: Come out from China Unicom and Zayo's peer in Los Angeles and return directly to China
Return, move to mainland China:
Beijing and Shanghai directions: both return directly from China Mobile’s node in Los Angeles
Guangzhou direction: Return directly from China Mobile’s node in Seattle
Tiktok streaming media unlock test: US area, OK
Some cross-regional streaming media unlocking test results:
Results of partial streaming media unlocking test in North America:
Some performance parameter test results:
A rough summary:
The CPU is quite powerful, a single core can compete with some Intel 2-cores, and the hard drive I/O also performs well; overall, there is no need to worry about performance. In terms of network: China Telecom and China Mobile all use direct connections back to China, and China Unicom all uses GTT. Overall, there should be no problem with the return speed. However, this is not a high-end line and will still be affected by backbone network peaks. Just understand it.
