Today Snail is dealing with a corporate website customer, who wants to move website data from other Internet companies. The business side has received the packaged website files and database. The entire file is only 3MB, so there is no need to throw it to the server. The problem can be solved directly on the virtual host. Anyway, this customer seems to just need to ensure that it can be opened normally. Can.

The virtual host uses the cPanel panel. After adding the additional domain name and MYSQL database normally, transfer the website files to the corresponding directory in the form of .ZIP compressed package, and then use the file manager to decompress it directly online (one less picture here) Picture, error message cannot be decompressed, I forgot to take a screenshot). You can be sure that the compressed package is complete, and the problem persists after trying several times. I didn't search for error reports. I just wondered if there was really something wrong with the compressed package, so I slowly uploaded the file directly.

It was difficult to upload the files one by one to the virtual host. Fortunately, there were not many files. It would be a disaster if they were hundreds of megabytes. However, after the transfer was completed, the database link was modified (there was no problem with the database import), and the above error occurred when opening the page. Through searching, I found that it should be a hexadecimal problem.

It can be judged that when the compressed package was uploaded, there must be a problem with the hexadecimal system, so when uploading the FTP tool, check whether there is a hexadecimal system setting. Because I currently use XFTP, I don’t see the base option in the properties and parameters.

I didn’t find the base method. I directly changed the original default AUTO to Linux in the host type. Then the compressed ZIP package can be decompressed smoothly after being uploaded. Finally, check the database link file and the migrated website can be opened smoothly.
