iwebfusion, a well-established computer room in the United States with more than 20 years of experience, has multiple data centers. We have previously written evaluation articles on Bend, OR, and Aptum. If you are interested, check them out for yourself. What we bring to you this time is a simple evaluation of the VPS located in Charlotte, North Carolina, in the southeastern United States. The data is for reference only. It does not mean that the computer room in the eastern United States is necessarily slow. It is also advisable if the resources are sufficient.

The main frequency is 3.0GHz, the specific model is unknown, their own AS, the current I/O is about 276MB/S, BBR has been turned on:
Test the hard disk I/O again with FIO. The approximate data is as follows:
Run down the nearest node of speedtest.net and the three network nodes in mainland China to see how far it can reach. It is roughly as follows:
After looking at the data during the day, let’s observe the effect of the backbone network burst period during the evening peak:
Let’s look at the general effect of international nodes:
Look at the data of countries and regions in Asia alone:
Take a few European and American nodes with 10G slots and take a look:
The files stored on the test chicken, Guangzhou Telecom, can be downloaded directly from Chrome to see the speed:
Download speed during evening peak, pay attention to comparison:
Sichuan Chengdu China Unicom, evening peak, download speed:
Hubei Huangshi Telecom, evening peak, download speed:
Latency test data of multiple nodes of the three networks in mainland China:
To go to Telecom, take zayo:
For China Unicom’s outbound journey, take zayo:
If you want to move outbound, you should take ZAYO:
Return to China Telecom:
In the direction of Beijing and Shanghai, take level 3 to connect with the telecommunications backbone
Guangzhou direction, directly connected to mainland China from China Telecom’s Los Angeles node
Return to China Unicom:
Directly connect back to China from China Unicom and level3 peer nodes in Los Angeles or San Jose
Return to China Mobile: All direct connections from China Mobile’s Seattle node to mainland China
Streaming media unlock test results:
VPS performance test, some test results:
A rough summary:
The current CPU performance and hard disk I/O are okay, at least not bad;
As for the Internet, the three networks on the way out are all via Zayo, and the three networks on the return journey are basically directly connected from the west coast back to China, so overall it seems to be okay!
