Bricklayer has now added a new page called SSH Keys. The full title of the page is Manage SSH Keys, which literally means it can manage SSH keys. After setting the SSH key, we can achieve password-free login without entering a password when logging into the VPS. This is a very common function in other cloud host merchants, but the WHMCS used by Bricklayer does not have this function. You can basically see that it was developed by yourself or by a plug-in vendor. We can upload the SSH Keys page of Bricklayer, which is Paste the SSH key and save it. This SSH Key will be automatically configured every time you reinstall the operating system. This is more convenient and does not require us to manually configure an SSH Keys every time we reinstall the system or buy a new VPS.

It seems that after developing this new version of the Services page, Bricklayer probably wants to gradually launch more practical functions. We can look forward to it. SSH keys are also more secure than passwords, but the only problem is that once you lose the private key, it may be more troublesome. If you forget your password, you can reset it through the KiwiVM control panel.

Bricklayer SSH key management page

After entering the new version of VPS host management page, you can see the SSH Keys page below, as shown in the figure.

You can see the prompt text:

These SSH keys will be automatically applied to /root/.ssh/authorized_keys upon each OS reload.

That is to say, these SSH keys will be automatically saved in the file /root/.ssh/authorized_keys when reinstalling the system, thereby realizing SSH key configuration.
