Alibaba Cloud ECS server quick configuration security group release port method

Snail shared "Tencent Cloud Server Selecting and Setting Custom Security Group Configuration Method" the day before yesterday. We can see that most cloud server merchants are beginning to pay attention to security settings. We can open the ports that need to be used, and directly disable or block the ports that are not used, so as to ensure the security of the server.

Snail remembers that we need to forcibly select a security group when installing the Alibaba Cloud ECS server. This was not required in the early stage. Either we start to customize a security group, or we set the default security group for the current server. The latter is used in the Snail test server here. After configuring the ECS server, we set up the security group.

First, enter the security group

Enter the Alibaba Cloud ECS server and click \\"Security Group of this Instance\\".

Click \\"Configure Rules\\".

Second, quickly add rules

If we use it to build a website, we can quickly add rules and add regular ports.

Here we need to set up the inbound and outbound directions and add the required rules for port release.

Third, add a single port

For example, after we install the Pagoda Panel, it needs to use ports 8888 and 888 by default to open the Pagoda Panel. So we need to add it to the Alibaba Cloud security group, otherwise it cannot be opened.

To summarize, if we do not know how to set ports separately, we can directly use the Alibaba Cloud security group to quickly add ports, and then add them individually according to the independent ports required by the panel or software.
