Use Alibaba Cloud OSS Browser graphical tool to manage OSS object storage files

Snail has previously shared that Alibaba Cloud OSS object storage can be used to build a self-built picture bed, and that the pictures and attachments in the WordPress website can be stored separately and separated from the website files. Among them, the WPOSS plug-in tool can be used (WPOSS plug-in realizes WordPress picture separation to Alibaba Cloud OSS object storage). But there is a problem here. If we have a website with local images and migrate it to OSS, we need to copy the original local images to OSS so that they can be synchronized after subsequent modifications to the path.

At the same time, if we later manage attachment files in OSS object storage and want to batch copy them to local management (so that we can feel more at ease), are there any tools that can achieve this? First, download and install the OSS Browser tool

This is chosen based on our local system environment. However, it should be noted that if a single file exceeds 5GB, you cannot use this tool. You need to use ossutil. We will experience this later. Generally, a single file does not have 5GB.

After the ossbrowser installation package is downloaded and decompressed locally, we can see that it can be run directly without installation. This interface should be relatively familiar, and you should be able to connect by directly inputting OSS parameters.

Second, use of OSS Browser object storage graph management

After we open the OSS Browser tool according to the picture above, we enter the corresponding parameters and API information in our OSS to see if we can connect. As for where to find these information parameters, Snail will not repeat it here, because since we need to use it here, we should be using object storage.

Here we enter the KEY API information normally. What needs to be noted is the OSS path mode (oss://bucket name), and then select the corresponding region to connect.

Here we enter the OSS graphical management software interface, and then we can manage the current OSS object storage, including downloading to local backup or uploading files.

In this way, if we use Alibaba Cloud OSS object storage, we can use the OSS Browser tool to perform regular backups, and if we need separate storage management of files, we can directly use this tool similar to FTP.
