How about UCloud Taiwan VPS?

UCloud is the cloud computing brand of UCloud Technology Co., Ltd., a large enterprise in mainland China, a listed cloud computing company, and a neutral and secure cloud computing service platform. Its competitors are Alibaba Cloud and Tencent Cloud. Someone recently asked me about ucloud’s Taiwan VPS. This article will give a brief introduction.

Ucloud's Taiwan VPS data center is located in Taipei and supports Linux and Windows operating systems.

Let’s first take a look at the delay effect of Taiwan VPS Ping in cloud computing, as shown below:

You can see that the latency is a bit excessive. My local latency is about 360ms. You know, VPS latency in Taiwan is about 70 milliseconds, which is a bit high. However, the network stability is okay and there is basically no packet loss.

Then let’s look at delays across the country, like this:

It can be seen that mobile lines have the best latency, with an average of 68ms, China Unicom’s latency is 217ms, and China Telecom’s latency is as high as 300ms. Therefore, it is basically certain that the mobile lines are directly connected, but the networks of China Telecom and China Unicom are bypassed.

It can be seen that ucloud's Taiwan VPS route does use the route bypassing the United States, so the delay is very high.

It can be seen that the price is indeed cheaper than ordinary Taiwan VPS, and it supports Linux and Windows operating systems, but the bandwidth is a bit small, only 1Mbps. In fact, I've only listed the simplest packages here. CPU, memory, storage and bandwidth can be customized and selected according to your needs.
