1. We are using Xshell 6 here. Xshell is a commonly used SSH management tool for Linux system services. We have previously introduced articles on how to download the free version of Xshell 6 and how to use the Xshell 6 tool, but not yet. 2. Use xshell to generate SSH keys and follow the step-by-step instructions below

Click "New User Key Generation Wizard" in xshell's "Tools"

Select the type and length and click Next

After generating the public key, click Next

Enter the key name and password, and click Next (this password is very important, you need to verify this password when using Xshell to log in to management)

Copy the generated secret key code and click Finish (the public key below is also very important, please copy it to a text document because it will be used in DMIT’s key management function later)

2. Return to DMIT's VPS cloud server management panel and fill in the public key you want to save above as shown in the figure below

Open the backend of Dmit and find the SSH key management in the upper right corner. You should also find the corresponding SSH key options for other servers

Paste the previously generated secret key in "Fill in by yourself"

3. Restart the server, click reboot to restart the server and let the secret key take effect

4. Finally, use Xshell to log in to SSH through the secret key, and connect to the SSH client through IP + secret key

After entering the ip in xshell, select "Public Key" in "User Authentication", use root as the user name, and then select the key and password generated previously, so that you can connect normally.
