Everyone knows that for website friends, data is the lifeblood of the webmaster. Some friends have caused website data errors or loss due to business closures, server hacking, misoperation, etc. For a master, this is It’s nothing, it can be restored, but for novice webmasters, it means that all the articles they have worked hard to write have disappeared. Today I will introduce to you the automatic backup and upload website data that I use. The blogger uses the Pagoda panel:
1. Install FTP plug-in
After opening the panel, find Software Management-System Tools-FTP Storage Space, and then install this plug-in.
2. Set FTP information
After the installation is completed, click Settings and the FTP setting information will pop up. Here you need to have a fixed space to store backup data. It is recommended to use HostHatch or virmach's storage VPS is a relatively reliable business after all. Fill in the FTP information and save it.
3. Set up website data backup
Click Task Plan, select Backup Website, and set the frequency you need to back up. Note here that if you update articles every day, it is best to set up a backup once a day and let the script automatically back up in the early morning. This will not affect Your user experience.
4. Back up database
After backing up the website data, of course you also need to back up the database. The settings are the same as backing up the website. Well, according to the above settings, you don’t have to worry about data loss in the future, you can restore it at any time. However, Alibaba Cloud or Tencent Cloud provide free backup of the entire VPS, but manual backup is required. The blogger feels that it is better to directly back up the website data.
