How to retrieve account and password of AMH free and paid management panels

No matter how good a person's memory is, there will be times when he forgets. Recently, this website has forgotten many usernames and passwords, including the account numbers and passwords for various management panels! In fact, this site wanted to make a comprehensive backup of this site, but unfortunately the password was always incorrect when logging in to the AMH panel, and I tried for a long time without success. In the end, I had to find a way to change the password of the AMH account.

Retrieve AMH database password

Before retrieving the panel version password, we need to retrieve the database root password, so that we can reset the panel password after logging in to the database. We use FTP to log in to the directory below
AMH4.2 free version

/home/wwwroot/index/web/Amysql/Config.php

AMH paid version

/usr/local/amh-5.x/web/Amysql/config.php

In the file, we open it with EDITPLUS or Notepad and see the Mysql password.

After knowing the database root password, use the ROOT username and the found password to log in to the AMS database management interface

Reset AMH panel password

We can first set the password to 4c071d2c4e4f9bf4140f65001a8d7e30 and then we can log in with amh_password and then change the password again.

The process is simple, but it is best to backup the password locally in the future.
