This article introduces the use of SFTP to transfer files on a Linux system. Friends who are accustomed to using virtual hosts most commonly use "FTP" software when transferring files, such as: FLASHFTP, LEAPFTP, CuteFTP, FileZilla, Flashfxp, etc.

We know that the general steps for using FTP are: enter the host address, port (usually 21), user name, and password,

So how to implement simple file transfer under Linux?

In fact, we can use SFTP to transfer exactly the same as FTP. Here I recommend two software, which many people are already using when using FTP to transfer files, namely FlashFXP and FileZilla.

Usage steps:

Enter the host address, port number (unless modified, the default is 22), enter the user name (such as root), and password (such as the default root password).
