How to batch rename uploaded images in WordPress

As we all know, WordPress’s support for Chinese is not perfect. Software features

This software is mainly used to automatically convert Chinese names to Pinyin names in WordPress files and generate update database codes.

How to use

1. Please back up your database and website files before use, remember! You can also back up just the database and wp-content\uploads folder.

2. Run the software and fill in your database table prefix, such as "wp".

3. Add the wp-content\uploads directory exported by your wordpress to the software using "Select File".

4. Click "Start", the software will automatically convert the name, and a dialog box will pop up when completed.

5. Once completed, delete the uploads folder on the host and re-upload the converted uploads folder.

6. After the conversion is completed, the software will generate a "sql.text" file in the directory, copy all the code, and execute it in the database of your WordPress website.

2. The software is developed based on the Microsoft .NET Framework 2 development kit. If it cannot run, please search, download and install it yourself (tested Win7 and higher systems can run directly).

3. If the name contains Chinese punctuation, please fix it yourself. You can automatically search the generated database and search and replace the changes one by one.

4. Because the software renames images in batches, security software such as 360 may report viruses. This site has personally tested that there are no viruses, but please decide whether to use it.
