cPanel panel virtual host quickly upgrades to PHP5.6+ to meet WordPress version requirements

So these days, some of our company's customer websites still use the earlier LNMP1.3 or other panels. We just take this opportunity to upgrade or reinstall the panel, and reconfigure a higher version of PHP.

On the contrary, if you use a virtual host, it is usually easier to switch the PHP version of the virtual host in the cPanel panel. You can directly upgrade and switch to the corresponding PHP version in the panel. This morning, Snail provided a corporate website client with a virtual host to switch the PHP version.

In the panel we find the PHP version selector menu.

Here, select the corresponding PHP option behind the site that needs to upgrade PHP. At present, the default PHP version of this merchant is 5.6, which seems to be keeping pace with the times. The PHP of our current website is version 5.3, so it needs to be upgraded. I upgraded directly to PHP7.2. In this way, after the WordPress upgrade version in a few days, let their editors upgrade directly when they see a prompt to upgrade in the background.

After selecting the version, you need to confirm the update. We then go to the front desk to check the website to see if it is compatible. I did encounter a website that used a theme that wasn't compatible enough.
