How to install Windows 11?
We would not recommend that you reinstall Windows 11 and replace Windows 10 as this is an immature version. Leaked builds may be unstable and may delete your important data if something goes wrong. However, you can install it on a virtual machine, such as using VirtualBox, and give it a try.
Here's how to download VirtualBox and install Windows 11 on Windows or Linux. There are many links to unofficial Windows 11 ISO versions online. We do not recommend that you download and install them on your main computer. So, proceed with caution. We will also update this article when Microsoft releases an official version of Windows 11.
1. To download VirtualBox, please go to the official VirtualBox download page and download the .exe file of the Windows version. If you are using Linux, you can refer to our previous tutorial on installing VirtualBox on Linux.
2. Double-click the downloaded file to install it. After the installation is complete, open the application.
3. Now, click on the "New" icon at the top. Add a virtual machine name, select "Windows" as the type, and select "Windows 10 (64-bit)" as the version. Then click Next.
4. Allocate at least 4GB of memory and click Next.
5. Check the "Create a virtual hard disk now" option and click "Create".
