Linode officially announced a few days ago that it has added PayPal and Google Pay as recurring payment methods, and it is not necessary to bind a credit card. However, currently Linode still must use a credit card to register new users, that is, a credit card is required to activate the Linode account, and then it can be bound to PayPal for automatic renewal.

1. Binding Linode to PayPal

Although Linode currently adds PayPal as a recurring payment method, credit card verification is still required when registering a Linode account. New users of Linode will receive US$100 for registration, and there is no validity limit. For details, please refer to the introduction in Part 2.
