Vultr is still developing quite fast, and there are more people using it. Some lines have been bruised and bruised, hehe! A new feature recently released called "reserved IPs" helps you reserve server IP addresses for later use. If you want to keep your original IP address unchanged, this feature is quite good. In addition, using the reserved IPs function is very simple. How to ask vultr to reserve an IP address for you?
First you need to register a vultr account, and then click the reserved IPs panel button in the background:
This feature requires a fee. "Reserved IPs cost $3 per month or $0.0045 per hour at all times." This feature charges $3/month, or $0.0045/hour based on usage time.
You have two options, add an IP that has never been used as your reserved IP; or put the existing server IP into the IP pool to be reserved.
In the first case, click on the drop-down list of the computer room you want to use, the IP type (IPv4 or IPv6 address), Label is the label, click Add, and the new IP will be reserved for your exclusive use.
In the second case, click Convert Existing IP to Reserved, scroll down to find your server IP, and click Convert on the right. Even if the original server is deleted, your IP will still remain unchanged.
