Generally when we use a virtual host, we can see the website's log file in the cPanel panel. The website log file can analyze the website's access data information, and then we can make countermeasures. But if we are using a VPS, many people may be like snails, fearing that accumulated log files will take up most of the VPS space, so they will not turn on the logging function when adding a site, but we can turn it on again if we need to use it later. Today there is a need to enable the log. Because we are building it with the LLsMP one-click installation package (extended reading: Debian installation LLsMP environment tutorial), we can use LiteSpeed to enable the log.

Step one, log in to the LiteSpeed backend
After logging in to the LiteSpeed backend, enter the site setting option in Configuration-Virtual Hosts, find the site you need to set, and then use "View/Edit" to edit the settings.
The second step, select the Log option to edit the Access Log
The third step, set the log path
Set \\"$SERVER_ROOT/logs/access.log\\" in File Name, and then save.
Finally, restart LiteSpeed
In summary, if we use the LLSMP installation package, we can see the access.log log file we set in /usr/local/lsws/logs/. There are not many articles about Litespeed. There is one article "Litespeed enables htaccess pseudo-static method" and some friends have encountered such a problem and need to solve it.
