However, in some large hosting providers, Plesk is still used more often. I happened to see that the Plesk Onyx panel was added to the Vultr VPS backend panel in the update. After all, I haven’t looked at this panel for many years, so I am going to take a look at its current appearance through this article.

Plesk Onyx provides three versions: Web Admin Edition SE, Web Pro Edition, and Web Host Edition, but only the first version is free, and the latter two require charges. The SE version supports three domain name bindings, but it is generally not used for us. This article on Snail is just for experience and understanding. Ordinary users do not need to use it because there are too many choices.

First, Plesk Onyx version selection and installation

Others we should be clearer about how to set up and fill in. Here, select Pleak Onyx in the application, and then you can see that there are three versions. Here I directly choose the SE free version. The other two versions are free for one month. I will take a look. No need to choose.

Because a panel needs to be installed here, I directly choose 1GB of memory for the plan configuration, otherwise I estimate that the resources will be insufficient. (I will install it and take a look, then delete it after reading it later)

After the installation is complete, we can see detailed server information.

Second, activate and use Plesk Onyx panel

We directly use the server's username (root) and password, and then log in.

You then need to reset a password for initialization.

When the installation is completed, we will see the serial number activation code, which needs to be activated before it can be used continuously.

The functions of the Pleak panel are indeed very powerful. Most netizens recommend not to use it, as they will definitely be confused. Normal website building functions are available, such as adding sites, databases, etc.

Finally, the simple experience Pleak panel can be installed directly in Vultr VPS. The free SE version can add 3 sites, but generally we still can't use it. After all, there are many free panels and other tools out there.
