Open a Linode sub-account and authorize VPS permissions

We all know that Linode machines are very cost-effective, especially after the memory upgrade last year, users who use them to build websites still prefer to choose this machine merchant who initially thought they were rich and handsome. Since payment can only be made by credit card, if you need to use this machine and don’t have a credit card to pay, you can use a friend’s account sub-account, or find a Linode VPS with a generation gap, which usually opens a sub-account for sales (sub-account and The difference between independent accounts is that the renewal must be done by the purchasing agent user)

Today, a friend asked Snail if he could open a Linode sub-account. He needed to use this VPS. Considering that there was still some money in Snail’s Linode account that could be used, he helped this friend open a sub-account using the monthly payment method. This is my first time using a Linode sub-account, so I recorded the process so that other friends can refer to it if they need it in the future.

The first step is to add a new machine in the background of our account

Click on the "ADD A Linode" text link to enter the wizard to add a machine solution.

Step 2, add sub-account

Look at the picture above and add a sub-account.

The third step, set permissions

Look at the picture above. Authorization and related configurations are not explained. Just follow the picture above. Then in the Linode Grants option, check the sub-account machine we need to open for the customer in ACCESS, which is the new machine we opened before, so that it is authorized.

Finally, as long as the customer logs in with the newly created sub-account, they can freely manage this newly opened machine and use it to operate any VPS authority. If there are technical problems, they can go to the official solution, not us. The only thing you don't have permission to do is renew yourself, because renewal is automatically deducted from the general account.
