1. Points to note when using Tencent Cloud lightweight custom images

The custom image function is very useful when the host is attacked. • Only instances with the same or higher configuration can be created. For example, we are using a lightweight custom image made by 2C4G. When creating, the configuration of 1C2G cannot be selected.
• For an instance created based on a custom image, all data and configuration are the same as the original instance. However, the firewall rules of Tencent Cloud web page need to be reset by yourself.
• Custom images can only be used to create instances in the same region. For example, a custom image for an instance in the Hong Kong region can only be used to create an instance in the Hong Kong region. If you select another region, it will be displayed that there is no custom image that meets the requirements. .

2. Tencent Cloud lightweight custom image usage tutorial

Open the Tencent Cloud lightweight creation page to start purchasing. When selecting an image, select [Custom Image]. The custom image you just created will be displayed here:

You can also select the corresponding custom image to directly create an instance in the lightweight application host console, as shown below:

After that, select the configuration and pay to activate it. Except for the IP address, all the content and configuration of the new instance are the same as the original host.
