vpsmate is currently tested under CentOS/Redhat versions 5.4+ and 6.x, and supports both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

1. Installation:

Run the following code and it will be installed in a few minutes:

# wget http://www.vpsmate.org/tools/install.py
# python install.py

The installation process will ask you to enter your username and password. You can press Enter directly, so that the username and password default to admin. The installation is easy to use http://ip address:8888/

After logging in, we will be asked to change the username and password. Once created, the username and password will be changed immediately.

After modification, click [Home] in the upper right corner to see our server information

At this point we have just installed vpsmate and we still need to manually install the database, php, etc.

2. Install related software

1. Normally, centos has already installed apache. We don’t need to install it anymore. We can upgrade it. Of course, we can also install nginx.

Click [Service Management] and select [HTTP Service].

After clicking [Install Service], you will be asked to confirm once. There may be errors, like the following:

This is because the wrong mirror address was used during yum installation. Just change it. Find this file [/etc/yum.repos.d/epel.repo],

There are a total of three places that need to be modified. After the modification is completed, for the sake of safety, it is recommended to restart the machine. Of course, you can use vpsmate's file management to find this file, make changes online, and then restart the vps online under the system tool.

If you reinstall nginx at this time, there will be no error. If you install other programs such as ftp, php, mysql, etc. and this error occurs, the solution is the same. There will be a bunch of nginx versions for us to choose from. Choose the version you like. If you don’t know how to choose, just choose the second to last one.

After selecting, just wait for the installation. After installation, remember to select startup and confirm services. Then we can continue to set up nginx, or install other software

2. At this time, we can click [Service Management] again and continue to install ftp, script engine, database, etc. Remember, after installation, you must choose to start the computer and start the service. If we find that we don’t want the software after installing it, we can uninstall it.

3. After installing all these, we can add the website in the website management, and we can do the rest by ourselves. Sharing ends here.
