Manually installing windows on a KVM architecture VPS that does not have a windows system is very complicated and troublesome, and the installation is very tedious. 1. Preparation

Because the Debian operating system supports Grub boot, we need to install Debian through the mounting step installation method. Note that Debian needs to be installed manually, not the default system provided by the merchant's backend, and the partition drive letter needs to be used in the process. The process is to boot DOS through Grub, and then install the GHO image through DOS.

1. Select the CD as the first startup item in the background

2. Select the DEBIAN system mount in the CDROM tab. Note, select X86.

After setting up here, you need to REBOOT to restart the server in the SolusVM panel.

2. Set password and partition

1. Find the SVN password provided by SolusVM and log in with your favorite SVN software.

2. When you see the following interface, press Enter directly to enter the installation.

3. Select Simplified Chinese and continue pressing Enter to install. If you insist on choosing English to challenge yourself, you can do that.

4. Select China and press Enter.

5. When finished, you will see some automatic settings. After the settings are completed, you will be asked to enter the host name. You can enter it casually.

6. Configure the network and just enter a domain name.

7. Set the root password and set it yourself

10. Hard disk partition begins

12. Mount the idle ones too

13. After the partition is completed, it looks like this. Except for the previous numbers [1, 3, 6, 7, 5] and the capacity, the others must be the same, otherwise the Windows installation may fail.

14. Select Write changes to disk at the bottom and select [Yes]

Okay, let’s start the installation.

3. Officially install Debian

1. Wait patiently for the installation to complete. If you are asked to choose a mirror during the installation process, please choose the fastest one according to your vps region. Generally speaking, if you choose the source of 163 in mainland China, you should choose the source of overseas ones based on luck. Therefore, it is very important to help the old lady cross the road to accumulate RP.

2. If you have a lot of time and have nothing to do, choose Yes. Otherwise, choose No.

3. SSH and standard system tools must be installed. If not selected, select it with a space and continue.

6. Select GRUB to boot to the master boot record.

7. Seeing this means the installation is complete. Let’s continue to restart the machine, but remember to go to the management background first and change the startup order from CDroom to hard disk as the first startup item or the only startup item.
