How about aaPanel, aaPanel is an open source lightweight Linux control panel that provides a web interface and tools to simplify the creation of web hosting environments. The control panel provides a simple web dashboard for setting up websites, databases, DNS entries, mail accounts, and applications on the server. To put it simply, aaPanel is actually the international/overseas version of Pagoda Panel, using an English interface. So this article introduces the installation of Pagoda International version aaPanel panel.

In this article, we will install aaPanel on centos 7 server and then create a simple website using the web interface.

1. Tutorial on installing aaPanel panel

Memory:

512M or more, 768M or more recommended (approximately 60M system memory for pure panel)

Hard disk:

More than 100M available hard disk space (approximately 20M disk space for pure panel)

System:

CentOS 7.1+ (Ubuntu20, Debian10), to ensure that it is a clean operating system, Apache/Nginx/php/MySQL is installed in no other environment (the existing environment cannot be installed)

The installation command is as follows:

aaPanel is developed based on Centos. We recommend using Centos for installation.

Centos:

yum install -y wget && wget -O install.sh http://www.aapanel.com/script/install_6.0_en.sh && bash install.sh forum

The experimental version Centos/Ubuntu/Debian/Fedora installation command supports ipv6. Please note that this command is executed with root privileges (Supports Centos8)

Ubuntu/Deepin:

Using aaPanel

Install LNMP or LAMP

This is the interface that pops up when entering the backend of aaPanel for the first time. We can directly install Nginx, Mysql, PHP, Apache and other components in the backend. It is really easy to install and select for those experienced with pagoda panels.

aaPanel can display the software installation progress, and you can directly see whether the installation is successful or not.

aaPanel also provides the installation and configuration of various caching components such as Redis and Memcached. You can download and install them directly from the software center in the aaPanel backend. We are also very familiar with it here. The Chinese panel of the pagoda also operates in the same way. Bind domain name and start MysqL

Add the domain name in aaPanel, and then set the website path. At the same time, you can also open the MysqL database, set the database name and password, etc. I won’t say much about Big Bird here, because it’s the same as the Chinese version of the Pagoda Panel. (Click to enlarge)

Of course, you can also add the database name and account in advance on the MysqL database management page.
