3. Then click the Change Password button and re-enter the password in the pop-up box. The password requires uppercase and lowercase letters, special characters and a certain length:

4. The modified password has not yet taken effect. The most critical step is to restart the server to take effect. Click Restart as shown below:

This will allow you to log in to Hostwinds VPS using the password you set.
