Microsoft today announced the basic requirements for installing Win11 on your computer. If your device does not meet these requirements, you may not be able to install Windows 11 on your device and may consider purchasing a new computer. If you're not sure whether your computer meets these requirements, you can check with your original equipment manufacturer (OEM); if your device is already running Windows 10, you can use the PC Health Check app to assess compatibility.

Requires 1 GHz or faster 64-bit capable processor (dual-core or multi-core) or system-on-a-chip (SoC);

4 GB RAM;

64 GB or larger storage device;

Supports UEFI secure boot;

Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0 (the motherboard supports TMP2.0 and is turned on or the CPU supports virtualized TPM, and win11 can be installed if one condition is met);

Supports DirectX 12 or higher and supports WDDM 2.0 driver;

A high-definition (720p) display larger than 9 inches diagonally, with 8 bits per color channel.
