It is the line with the fastest connection speed and the lowest load between mainland China and North America. GIA lines are among the provincial routes in mainland China. Intervene in the CN2 node starting with 59.43 (CN2 is the abbreviation of China Telecom's next-generation transport network). Ordinary CN2 generally represents CN2 GT or CN2 GIS. Transmission in mainland China is carried by Telecom's 163 backbone network. Only the 59.43 route of CN2 is involved in outbound nodes. Generally, In this case, congestion still occurs in the 163 backbone, which will cause the CN2 GT (GIS) line to have poor connection with foreign countries when the backbone network is congested. CN2 GIA is fully involved in CN2 routing at provincial nodes in mainland China, that is, provincial-level All overseas routes use CN2 GIA dedicated lines, which have low load, high quality and fast speed!

The above introduction is taken from the brief introduction on the sales page of Standard Interconnect San Jose CN2 GIA.

Here is a graphic introduction to CN2GT:

The picture below is the CN2 GT line in Los Angeles, USA. Taking the IP 156.238.2.1 of the CN2 GT line in the United States as an example, Xiangyang Telecom tracks the IP of CN2 in the United States. In mainland China: the routes from Xiangyang to Guangzhou are all carried by the 163 backbone network of 202.97 , there is no CN2 node of 59.43 in the provincial route. It only enters the CN2 node when going to sea, that is, the route of CN2 node 59.43 appears at the eighth hop in the figure. This is a typical CN2 GT line.

Then take a look at the graphic introduction of CN2 GIA:

The picture below is the CN2 GIA line in San Jose, USA. Taking the IP 104.233.227.31 of the CN2 GIA line in the United States as an example, Xiangyang Telecom tracks the IP of CN2 GIA in the United States. The itinerary within mainland China is: Xiangyang-Wuhan-Shanghai, that is Hops 5-8 in the figure below are all provincial routes. All provincial routes are carried and transmitted by the CN2 node of 59.43. There is no 163 node of 202.97 in the provincial route. The provincial route until entering the United States is 59.43. It starts and ends after entering the United States. This is a typical CN2 GIA route. Please see the picture below.

------------------------------ renew: A friend mentioned that if I walk 59.43 for the outbound trip, what if I walk 202.97 for the return trip?

Generally, the outbound trip is CN2 GIA, and the return trip is also CN2 GIA. Only a few outbound routes use 163, and the return journey becomes CN2 GIA. This is the preferred solution to defend against attacks, because under normal circumstances, the outbound journey between China and the United States is very smooth, and the return journey is prone to congestion, so it can be customized to use the backbone for the outbound journey and the return journey. Take CN2 GIA to solve the congestion problem.
