To a certain extent, if the IP is blocked, it may be because the server installs and uses illegal content, but sometimes it may be caused by accidental damage. If we have a similar situation or the server IP may be blocked, we can detect it through the following methods.

First, check if the server IP is blocked

1. Check the server status or restart

If we find that the server/VPS cannot be connected, we need to check whether the current server status is normal. Sometimes it may be due to outage due to non-payment or because the traffic is used up, or the server is taken down due to an attack. The latter is an empty routing problem. Therefore, we need to check the current server status as soon as possible and whether there is a customer service ticket to notify us.

Of course, there have been cases where merchants could not see their IP addresses being blocked, which may have been caused by blocking in some areas.

3. There may be a problem with the website domain name

I met a netizen before who mentioned that his website could not be opened, but the server was normal. This domain name/website may be used for inappropriate content, which may lead to the website being blocked. Therefore, our premise is that both the website and the server must not contain any illegal content. Unless we are really wronged, there is nothing we can do.

Second, solve the problem of server IP being blocked

If the server IP address is blocked, we always have to find a solution. There are different methods based on the characteristics of different service providers. For example, the conventional method is to ask the hosting provider if it can add a new IP address or purchase a new IP address. Some host providers support free replacement.
