Free and scheduled online backup of website files and databases using multiple backups

First, have multiple backup accounts

Registering an account is very simple and only takes a few seconds. I won’t share it here. You can use it after the registered account email is activated. Then log in to the account and you will see a slightly better-looking UI interface than before, but it still doesn't feel very good.

Second, deploy backup projects

According to the wizard prompts, we start the backup.

Here you can choose between file backup and database backup. Snail here uses the backup of files in the site as a demonstration.

Choose whether to have firewall settings based on your own host settings.

Third, set up FTP link

According to the FTP settings link on our website, click the connection to check whether it is correct.

See the picture above to indicate that the connection is correct, and then set the backup parameters. You can set the storage location, and you can back it up on multiple platforms, or on third-party platforms such as Baidu Cloud Disk, Alibaba Cloud, and Qiniu.

Fourth, check the backup progress

After starting the backup, we can see the backup progress. Then it will be automatically backed up regularly.

Similarly, if you need to back up the database, choose to back up the database in the second step, then configure the database parameter connection, and set up scheduled backup like file backup. Snail personally suggests that such a backup mode can be used for personal websites. After all, the setup is relatively simple. For commercial websites, many people may be more concerned about data security, and Snail is equally concerned. Therefore, important website data, especially those involving project uniqueness, can be backed up independently.
