Linode cloud server finally supports images imaging service, why is it said "finally"? Linode's competitors Vultr and DigitalOcean already supported this feature a few years ago!
On Wednesday, June 16th, Linode announced that its VPS cloud server has begun to support the images service. There are two types of services: one is to package the VPS in a similar way to a snapshot backup and store it in Linode's cloud. Among them, one allows users to customize image files and then upload them to the linode cloud. The image file only supports "Raw disk image" and .img format. Others are not supported. If you are interested, you can go and experience it.
