WordPress SMTP email sending plugin: Easy WP SMTP

We have introduced an SMTP WordPress plug-in before: WP Mail SMTP. This time we recommend another SMTP plug-in: Easy WP SMTP. The purpose of these two WordPress plug-ins is exactly the same, but in actual use, Easy WP SMTP configuration success rate will be higher. When we configured the SMTP function of the demo site before, we were unable to successfully send emails using WP Mail SMTP. Switching to Easy WP SMTP was successful, and the configuration options of Easy WP SMTP are relatively simpler.

Installation

The plug-in can be installed directly in the WordPress backend [Plug-in>Install Plug-in], search for the plug-in name: Easy WP SMTP, or download it at: https://cn.wordpress.org/plugins /easy-wp-smtp/

Configuration

Enable the plug-in, enter Settings>Easy WP SMTP, and set email sending and SMTP connection information, as shown in the figure:

Please find SMTP information from your email service provider. If it is a QQ mailbox, you also need to enable the SMTP function under Settings>Account>POP3/IMAP/SMTP/Exchange/CardDAV/CalDAV Service of the mailbox. If you have any questions about SMTP settings, you can search the Internet for SMTP setting tutorials on related mailboxes.

Note: Some servers have closed port 25 (such as Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud). If you are not sure, please enable SSL and use port 465.

After setting and saving, you can then test whether the SMTP configuration is successful on the page, as shown in the figure:

If the email is received normally, the configuration is successful.
