QQ mailbox WordPress SMTP configuration tutorial

Email sending is often used in WordPress, such as password retrieval, registration notification and other functions. So here I will introduce to you how to configure SMTP based on the Easy WP SMTP plug-in using QQ mailboxes.

Plug-in installation

Easy WP SMTPThe plug-in can be directly searched for the plug-in name in the WordPress backend Plug-in>Install plug-in to install, or you can download it and upload it manually for installation. The plug-in download address is: https: //cn.wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/

QQ mailbox SMTP configuration

Enable the plug-in, enter Settings>Easy WP SMTP, and set the sending email and SMTP connection information, as shown in the figure:

Fill in options

From Email Address: Fill in the QQ email address that needs to be configured to send emails.

From Name: The name of the email sender. You can fill in the website name. It is recommended to check the following Force From Name Replacement, otherwise the sender may be the system default Website name

Reply-To Email Address: Ignore

SMTP Host: Just fill in smtp.qq.com for your QQ email address

Type of Encryption: Select SSL/TLS

SMTP Port: fill in 465

SMTP Authentication: Select Yes

SMTP Username: Fill in the QQ email address that needs to be configured to send emails, consistent with the above From Email Address

SMTP Password: (Note that the email login password is not filled in here) Enter QQ Mailbox and go to Settings>Account>POP3 /IMAP/SMTP/Exchange/CardDAV/CalDAV Service After turning on the SMTP function below, fill in the obtained authorization code. If it is already turned on, you can turn it off and on again to obtain the authorization code again.​

SMTP Test

After filling in the above information, click Save. Finally, you can test whether the email can be sent in Settings>Easy WP SMTP>Test Email.
