Alibaba Cloud Server Linux Glibc Vulnerability Patch Solutions for Each System Version

Since the Glibc vulnerability was exposed on the 27th, it has gradually attracted the attention of major cloud host vendors and webmasters. Snail does not understand how to use the vulnerability to cause security risks to the system, but now that the vulnerability has come out, we still Needs to be patched. Just now, Alibaba Cloud server email and mobile phone reminders were notified to users to apply, so Snail upgraded one of his Alibaba Cloud machines and provided various comprehensive Linux system version solutions.

Before we update the version patch, we recommend that we back up the database and website first, or directly use a snapshot backup in the Alibaba Cloud panel background. If something goes wrong, we can roll back the snapshot to solve the problem.

First, CentOS 5/6/7 system:

yum update glibc

Second, Ubuntu 12/14 system:

apt-get updateapt-get install libc6

Third, Debian 6 system:

wget -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/debian6-lts.list http://mirrors.aliyun.com/repo/debian6-lts.listapt-get updateapt-get install libc6

Fourth, Debian 7 system:

apt-get updateapt-get install libc6

Fifth, Opensuse 13 system:

zypper refreshzypper update glibc*

Sixth, Aliyun linux 5u7 system:

wget -O /etc/yum.repos.d/aliyun-5.repo http://mirrors.aliyun.com/repo/aliyun-5.repoyum update glibc
